Underground Experimental Experience Edition 11: NXOR - Moon Lattice

Gliding through tranquil, ambient skies then landing in rhythmic, electronic waves is my analogy to describe Moon Lattice by NXOR. This tape provides unique synthesizer patterns and layerings that have successfully encapsulated my ears in full-focus. Some parts of these recordings feel like you’re walking in swamplands yet unbothered by the uncomfortableness of the mud, whereas other parts of the album are much more dreamlike and prolific. The stark contrast between sounds create a blend that rather than clashing together, builds off of one another almost as if the sounds are conducting business together.

Another impressive part about this tape is how danceable yet complex and uncanny the tracks can sound. On side B, it sounds out of place yet oh-so in place when listening making off-beat the new on-beat to my ears. There is a lot NXOR has to offer on this tape and in performing live I hope you listen to this project and catch a show or two if you can.
